We had a mini-van that had problems with the exhaust system, which cost more than the vehicle was worth to repair. It was so loud, and so embarassing. I was told by a young man who worked in a parking garage in Portland that "you have the coolest sounding mini-van". It really did sound like one of those souped up race cars. Anyway... we were so bad, and hung onto that thing for so long, that the mechanics had to tell us to please, please retire the thing! Oh I know how it feels to drive a loud vehicle.
